Afrobeats Central Presents “Yes I Do” — An Afro-Soul Duet from Oladapo and Xenia Manasseh

Afrobeats Central is proud to announce the release of “Yes I Do,” a heartfelt Afro-soul collaboration bridging Lagos and Nairobi, performed by Nigerian singer-songwriter Oladapo and Kenyan R&B/Soul artist Xenia Manasseh.

Rooted in intimacy and vulnerability, “Yes I Do” blends Oladapo’s emotionally charged Afro-fusion sound — steeped in Yoruba lyricism and the rhythms of highlife and contemporary Afrobeats — with Xenia Manasseh’s delicate, R&B-inflected harmonies. The result is a textured, slow-burning duet that captures the essence of love, longing, and commitment across borders.

Produced by Malvo and SaintLlaines, “Yes I Do” is built on a lush, mid-tempo beat that gives space for the artists’ voices to shine. The track unfolds as a dialogue: Oladapo’s confessional verses, laced with regret and yearning, give way to Xenia’s affirmation, echoing the song’s central refrain — “Yes I do.”

More than a love song, “Yes I Do” reflects the growing cross-pollination of African sounds across regions. It embodies the shared language of soul, Afrobeats, and R&B, while celebrating the artistry and individuality of two of Africa’s most promising voices.
